My interview with Patrick from Define Jamron

Me: Who would you say are your main musical influences?
Patrick: mine or the bands
Me: yours
Patrick: mine are the red hot chili peppers, there the whole reason i play music, i saw em when i was like 3 and since  then im like thats the coolest thing ever. but i also have influences from jazz metl like ozzy and metallica and even pop crap, oh blacksabbath was cool for a while to
Me: What do you think are the main problems with modern music?
Patrick: increased cd sales, and kids who think not buying them and downloading songs off the internet is going to lower them. right now music needs a kick in the ass another nirvana. but everyone bitches about pop artists and stuff, there are always gonna fabricated musicians because thats entertainment, and the best dont worry about that they just do their shit and play their heart out and kids that bitch about whether stuff is punk or nbot cause dude, u know every kid whos all like rancid this op ivy this, knows every word to all the "pop-punk" songs
Me: good response, so are there any artists you think could kick the music industry in the ass, that haven't already done so?
Patrick: define jamron
Me: anyone else?
Patrick: lol just give it a chance
Me: ok
Patrick: umm i really think by the way by rhcp is something everyone needs to have, but umm. i think if alkaline trio got the exposure theyd make a big splash
Me: I would like to see Alkaline Trio do that.
Me: My only fear would be people wouldn't get the lyrics.
Patrick: cause theyre ignorant
Me: Yeah
Patrick: lol that band rules
Me: What do you think the biggest problem facing the youth of america today is?
Patrick: school administration that are too god damn concerned with kids feelings and not whether theyre gettin doen what they need to get done and kids who think middle american suburbia is the ghetto
Me: I must agree with the last one since we do attend the blackest white school in America.
Patrick: yeah but for real, the school thing is serious we shouldnt care about whether a kid feels ok when hes gettin high iun the bathroom we should worry about how were gonna kick his ass for being stupid enough to get high in the bathroom
Me: Yeah, people should do that on their own time away from people that don't wanna be around it.
Patrick: yeah i mean hell im no straightedge, but dont be a dumbass cause youll end up poor
Me: Is Jerry Springer an exagerated reality or a sad truth or a mixture?
Patrick: mix, theres a lot of fucked up shit that happens in real lilfe
Me: Yeah like circus midgets and the bearded woMEN that love them.
Patrick: lol yeah
Me: You're trapped on a desert island and can only take 3 CD's all of which have to be by different artists, for variety's sake, what 3 are they?
Patrick: blood sugar sex magik-rhcp..........dude thats hard
Me: I had to make somthing hard
Patrick: umm not anal cunt
Me: that is #2 just because it is a good answer
Patrick: umm prob mark tom and travis show, cause its fun
Me: Describe one thing you'd like to change or expand on in your band's sound, while I get a snack.
Patrick: lol ummm what are you gonna eat personally id like to make more
complex, funky riffs with a very melodic sound. but that mny personal sound. i think as a band we are creating amazing music that everyone needs to hear, i wouldnt change a thing

Me: Ok, pop tarts
Patrick: sweet ,what flavvor
Me: wild berry
Patrick: with sprinkles
Me: nope just frosting
Patrick: i see
Me: Is it dumb when married 30 year olds write songs about getting dumped and how they can't get girls anymore?
Patrick: no cause everyone has feelings from when it happened to them, i just farted
Me: LoL, interviews are better late at night
Patrick: lol hell yes there
Me: Who would you say is most likely to settle down and start a family first in Define Jamron?
Patrick: i dont know, could be any of us
Me: And finally, what is you favorite Adult Swim cartoon?
Patrick: oh shit what a question dude
Me: I had to ask cuz I knew you're a fan
Patrick: alright my ultimate favorite is cowboy bebop its awsoem i think its fuckin sweet
Me: ok
Patrick: but i really love watchin sealab and aqua teen when my mind is wondering. its hilarious. i love it. adult swim rules
Me: and my final final question. Alkaline Trio's new CD is out in May do you think it will go unnoticed and keep them underrated
Patrick: it all depends on them
Me: One of the songs is called The Donner Party. So I see it as being too dark for the mainstream
Me: or at least that song
Patrick: cause i know they arent too big on fame, but i think they have tooo many fans for it to go unnoticed itll start poppin up on charts and people will
notice
Me: Cool
