4/11/03 Gathering Grounds - Good show, I really liked the guitar work, most likely the best I've heard out of these guys. I was really impressed with Chris on vocals, he did a great job. Also the drums were awesome, I really liked those. Hmmmm. Funky Brewster is getting old, I like the song, it is getting worn out though. That didn't take away from the show though and the fact the covered a Beastie Boys song makes it even better. Keep rocking guys, who knows you might be on Mtv one day.

7/11/03 - Gathering Ground - Despite What others might say or even believe this night had to of been one of the best shows Shyftid has ever had. It was a Huge transition for the boys considering whenever they do play there its with the same 3 bands .. Hello Disaster, Surviving Monday and . Auttum without Audry. It was time for a change and a good one at that. This was their time to shine .. soon to record a new cd and all new material these boys are set.  Shyftid was the first to play, Great band to get the crowd going for what was about to happen later. First song up, "Can't handle this" Can't handle enough of these boys great looks is what im talkin about. This song is such a crowd pleaser and for those moshing roadies.. really gets them wound up. Through out the night these four new-aged Beatles played an outstanding new version of "Falling Down", "No Title Old Slow Song" as they call it, "When It Starts", a "No Title New Slow Song" ( pretty original) and for a crowd pick up a new "hardcore" song called " Nitemare" or "Nitemare on Marylin Street" as Chris likes to call it , but don't worry i didn;t forget,  last and I like to think of it , and I'm sure you all would agree, as the best part of the night was when good ol' CX2 and Andy "Bangerman" Bane set down their trusty instruments, grabbed the mics and brought Ben Roerig, sexy roadie extroardinaire up for a little .. FIGHT.. thats right.. Fight For Your Right. The classic Beastie Boys cover that did these four great things. The crowd is wowed by their performance and is sad to see them leave. These boys are working incredibly hard to please the crowd, and in my opinion they are doing a great job so far. So all of you kids, and Teachers ( you know who you are), out there that say sorry shyftid is for losers.. try out thier new stuff u could change your mind , after all, bands evolve. Whether you like the evolution or not, you cant help but take notice. - Loruh
