2/14/03 - Gathering Grounds
As always these guys delivered their own brand of emo, it isn't quite Alkaline Trio and it isn't quite Thursday, all
I know is that it rocks. The vocals and melodies were tight and the drums were freakin' awesome. Post It Note as always sounded
like a #1 single waiting to happen. These guys are getting to play Detroit soon which is kick ass cuz Ohio needs to share
its wealth and let the country know we have a scene that doesn't suck.
Gathering Grounds 4/11/03 - Nice show, I was sitting down talking to my cousin who was in from out of
town. The music got to me however, especially Post It Note. I don't know why but the song does somthing for me...odd huh?
Anyways I liked the whole set, Cinder Block came on as I went into the bathroom and I must say it was the best pee ever. So,
anyways I can't wait for the surrounding areas to get a chance to see these guys, Autumn Without Audrey, and Hello, Disaster
this summer. It will be a great experience for all involved.
Gathering Grounds 11/7/03 - Well, I must admit I was surprised by these guys. They have a political
song now, given it isn't a Dead Kennedy's song but it is the way politics fit into the musical niche these guys have carved
themselves. The band sounded as tight as ever and brought the emo er screamo er fuck it they rocked. Anyways, the songs were
good as always and Alex provided a good quote "Girls, never break up with a guy cuz they'll write like ten songs about it.
It was great to be back at a show, and it is great to finally review it on the website.
